He attended Elkhart Lake Schools. 14th April, 1964, Gary entered the United States Naval Reserve. He was ordered to active duty and was honorably discharged 14th April, 1966.
15th June, 1968, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Erickson at York Memorial Lutheran Church in Blanchardville. They made their home in the Village of
Elkhart Lake, WI.
Employment included Millersville Box Company, Kiel Industries, TenPas Transportation and Sargento Cheese Co.
He was involved with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scout programs in Elkhart Lake.
Survivors include his wife, their sons Andrew (Bonnie) and Timothy (Heather), his mother Adelia Manthey, his brother Richard (Bernice) and his sister Judy Pearl.
