Mrs. Mary Harty, 71, of 2418 Lincoln Ave., Two Rivers, died unexpectedly late Monday evening at Evanston, Ill., Hospital where she had been a patient several days.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels and 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Earl Brouchoud will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Harty was born March 15, 1900, at Shullsburg, Wis., daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Mulvaney Fleming. She was graduated from St. Clair High School and Platteville State College and taught school for several years prior to her marriage.
She was married to Bergen Harty Aug. 18, 1924, at Shullsburg, and the couple resided in Two Rivers since that time. Her husband preceded her in death in 1968. Mrs. Harty was a member of St. Luke Ladies Society.
Survivors include a son, a daughter, a sister, Miss Helen Fleming, of Mt. Prospect, Ill.; five brothers, Joseph and Francis of Mt. Prospect, Aloysius and Basil, of Woodburn, Ind., and Gerald of Chicago and a grandchild. A daughter preceded her in death.
