KENNETH R. HEILI

Kenneth R. Heili, age 66, a resident of Appleton, died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at his residence.

He was born on January 4, 1947 in Two Rivers, son of the late Herbert and Estelle (Laurent) Heili. Ken was a graduate of Two Rivers High School, Class of 1965 and then was a graduate of University of Wisconsin - Stout, graduating with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering. Ken was a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, stationed in England. On January 4, 1969 he married the former Roberta Clark. She preceded him in death in April 6, 1989. He later married the former Kathleen Burke Pfeffer on February 2, 1991 in Appleton. Ken was employed as a manufacturing engineer for many years before retiring. He enjoyed his afternoons at the dog park with Jasper and the other dog owners. Ken never missed one of Jacob's or Joshua's concerts. He was an avid user of duct tape. Ken & Kathleen enjoyed playing cards together.

Survivors include his wife: Kathleen, Appleton; one son and daughter-in-law: Brian & Tammy Heili, Manitowoc; a step son: Eric Pfeffer, U.P. Michigan; two grandchildren: Jacob & Joshua Heili; one brother and two sisters-in-law: Herbert & Barbara Heili, Onalaska, Ruth Heili, Manitowoc; a brother-in-law: Richard Koprowski, New Franken; and his dog: Jasper. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife: Roberta; a brother: Dean Heili; and a sister: Sandra Koprowski.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the All-Care Center, 925 South 14th Street, Manitowoc on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the All-Care Center, Manitowoc (located at 925 South 14th St. Manitowoc). Officiating at the Memorial Service will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau. Military Honors will be accorded by the VFW Post #1248 and American Legion Post #165 following services. Burial of Ken's cremated remains will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
