SAVANNAH P. HETUE

Savannah P. Hetue, age 99, a resident of Hamilton Memorial Home and formerly of Mueller Manor, Two Rivers, died Monday afternoon, June 19, 2006, at the home.

Savannah was born March 25, 1907, in Coleman, daughter of the late Joseph and Mathilda (Durocher) Payette. She attended Woulf School in Coleman.

On June 9, 1925, Savannah married Mose J. Hetue in Coleman. The couple then moved to Two Rivers in 1925. He preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1973. Savannah was a seamstress in her own home and a sales clerk.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law: Delores Hetue, Madison; three grandchildren: Marcia (Joe) Loukotka, Texas; Dean (Mary Jo) Hetue, Blue Mound; Maureen Hetue, Madison; four step- grandchildren: Sharon, Joan, Greg, Mary; four great- grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren. Nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by one daughter and a son-in-law: Athalene and William Cavanaugh; two sons: A.J. (Del) and Roger Hetue; one stepson: Carl Hetue; one infant granddaughter: Corrine Hetue; seven brothers and six sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2006, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William O’Brien. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends Thursday, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.

The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of the Hamilton Home for the wonderful care given to Savannah.
