Lunnie Mae Rester Cuevas, 65, of the Standard-Dedeaux Community, died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Cuevas was a native and lifelong resident of Hancock County. She was a homemaker and a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Burdic Joseph Rester Sr. and Emma Line Perkins Rester.
Survivors include her husband, Barney Cuevas of the Standard Community; three sons, Freddie Cuevas of Lakeshore,
Prentice and Austin Cuevas both of Standard; four daughters, Emily Head of Delisle, Linda Huskey, Wanda Peterson, and Arelean Cuevas all of Standard; a brother Burdic Joseph Rester Jr. of Standard; three sisters, Carolyn Castilow of Lizana, Vercie Mae Cuevas and Jannie Powe of Standard; 18 grandchildren, and 8 great granchildren.
A service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the residence of Vercie Mae Cuevas, 25069 Road 203, Standard Community where friends may call from noon until service time. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery in Hancock County. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
