Mrs. Annie L. Wetzel, wife of Oscar Wetzel, died at her home on East Second street in Alburtis on Tuesday, aged 58 years, 10 months and 20 days. She was a daughter of the late William Reppert and his wife Sarah, nee Groff, and was born in Berks county. Mrs. Reppert was in good health up to about two months ago. She suffered a stroke and was bedfast from that time on. The stroke rendered her helpless and speechless. There survive her husband and eight sons, William, Alburtis R. 1; Herbert, Alburtis R. 1; George, Alburtis R. 3; Alvin, Mertztown; Clinton, Alburtis; Milton, Allentown; Lloyd and Raymond, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Clarence Scherer, Alburtis; Mrs. Morris Long, Alburtis; Mrs. Claude Rauch, Alburtis; Mabel, at home; two brothers, Henry and Milton Reppert, both of Allentown; twenty-six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a faithful member of Lehigh church on the Lutheran side. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, daylight saving time, from her late home in Alburtis. Continued services in Lehigh church. Burial in adjoining cemetery.
