Mrs. Pope, a native of Iowa, moved to Lodi as a child. In 1925, she moved to Ventura, but returned to Lodi in 1950, when she married her husband the late, Edward H. Pope. Mr. Pope died in 1976.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lodi, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile Menzaleh No. 16.
She is survived by one son, Ralph Patelzick of Ventura; one daughter, Bernyce Orm of Ojai; two sisters, Frieds Mason and Lena Galeazzi; eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren
