Mrs. Carolyn L. Simmons, of Crawfordsville,
died on Friday evening, August 07, 2009 at
Home Hospital, Lafayette,~five[5] day after her husband Raymond. She was 81years, 03months, 17days in age.
Simmons had worked more than 20 years at
Union Federal Savings & Loan, retiring as
comptroller in 1992.
She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary.
She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1946.
She was born Sunday, April 22, 1928, in Crawfordsville, to Oliver McLeod and Etelka (Cox) McLeod.
She married Raymond Simmons.
He precedes her in death on August 3, 2009.
Survivors include;
daughters, Pamela (Bob) Hain and Jane (Wade) Pederson; brother, Richard (Evelyn) McLeod;
many nieces and nephews; and one grandchild.
Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral home with Rev. Alan Goff officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
