George Morse, George Morse died at his home in Brady Wednesday evening after a long illness. The funeral will be held from his late residence at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. O. K. Stockwell will officiate. Deceased was a prominent member of lodge No. 208, F. and A. M., and the Iodge will be in attendance. Mr. Morse was born in Jefferson county, Now York in 1834. He resided there until 1848, when be moved with his parents to Michigan, where he has resided ever since. He married Mary Daming in 1853. As a result of the union, nine children were born, Cynthia, Charles, Carrie, Belle, Silas M., George B., Sadie, Frederick and Mary. Mrs. Morse died in 1873. Later he married Miss Jane Shafer and to them was born one child, Willard. Five of his children are still living, he also leaves one brother, Silas Morse of Silver City, Iowa, and three sisters, Mrs. Hannah Smally, Mrs. Amos Best of Silver City, Iowa, and Mrs. Cynthia Ellis of Holland, Minn.
