MRS. EMILY M. MOWRY
Mrs. Emily M. Mowry, widow of Benjamin T. Mowry, died at the Franklin County Public hospital on last week Friday evening. she had been a resident of Greenfield for many years, making her home on Shelburne street until recently. She was, during her active years, an interested worker at the Methodist church and in the W. C. T. U. Mrs. Mowry was twice married, her first husband being Josiah Whidden, who was lost at sea. She later married Benjamin T. Mowry and came with him to Greenfield in the 60's, making her home here since then. She is survived by one daughter by her first marriage, Clara T. Goddard, and by several grandchildren and great-grand children.
