MARSHALL -- Funeral services for Barbara Anne Jackson Ford will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2006, at Eastern Hills Church of Christ, 2705 E. Travis St., Marshall, Texas, with H.L. Shirley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Mrs. Ford died Saturday, January 28, 2006, at LSU Health Center in Shreveport, La. She is survived by her loving husband, J.R. Ford; three sons, Bryan, Barry, and Brett Dean; seven grandchildren; step-daughter, Elizabeth Ford; brothers, John and Howard Jackson; and sisters, Bobbie Sue Davenport and Bettie Durke. She was preceded in death by step-son, Eric Ford. Barbara was a loving wife and best friend to her husband, J.R. She was a very giving person and placed God first in her life. She also deeply loved and cared for her family, always concerned about their happiness and well-being. She will be missed by many. Pallbearers will be Bryan Dean, Barry Dean, Brett Dean, Charles Denton, Howard Jackson, and Buzz Ballard. Alternate pallbearers will be Randy Newsom and Buzz Howard Ballard. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Center Point Energy, employees of Marshall ISD, and members of Eastern Hills Church of Christ. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. this evening, February 1, 2006, at the funeral home.
