65, Crab Orchard, a native of
Montgomery County, died Friday, Feb.
11, at Theda Saylor Nursing Home in
Crab Orchard.
Mr. Richards was born March 1, 1917,
the son of Owen Richards and Clara
Chandler. He was a disabled veteran
following service in the U.S. Navy in
World War II.
Mr. Richards is survived by a son,
Harry D. Richards of Mt. Sterling;, two
daughters, Betty Jean Lawwill of
Houston and Myrtle Ruth Barnes of
Michigan; two brothers Billy and
James Richards, both of Mt. Sterling;
eleven grandchildren and several
great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, Feb 14,
