Quilting and Cooking were interests. She would walk to Emmaus Luthern Church usually once each week (5+ miles) and joined with other church women in a quilting session. She was an excellent cook and loved children always having special treats when children would visit. For a couple seasons she was employeed in the Robuck tomato canning factory.
