MRS. EDMUND LUEBKE

A rural Manitowoc mother and her newborn son died Monday at Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc. She was Mrs. Edmond Luebke, 33, of R. 1, Manitowoc, who died Monday afternoon. The infant died shortly after birth Monday morning.

Mrs. Luebke, the former Edna Lutze, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lutze of Sheboygan. Born in the Town of Herman, February 22, 1925, she was comfirmed at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Schwartzwald, in 1938 and graduated from Kiel High School in 1943. Since her marriage to Mr. Luebke, June 5, 1948, the couple has resided south of Manitowoc. Her husband is employed in Manitowoc.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are three daughters, Janelle, 9, Eileen, 8, and LuAnn, 3. Also surviving are a brother Melvin, Town of Herman; a sister, Miss Elsie Lutze, Sheboygan; and her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Luebke, Manitowoc. A sister, Florence, preceded her in death.

Services for both the mother and the child will be held at 2 p.m. Thirsday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Newtonberg, with the Rev. A.T. Degner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Pfeffer Fumeral home in Manitowoc from 3 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from 11 a.m. Thursday.
