—Afflicted with a heart stroke while on a downtown shopping tour, Peter H. Koch, Sr., 66, 1420 Hawthorne avenue, died at 8:45 Friday night, 15 minutes after he was stricken. He had not complained of illness when he left his home early in the evening.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete, pending word from members of the family residing at distant points. Services, however, will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic church with the Rev. Peter J. Nilles officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery.

Peter Henry Koch was born in the town of Kossuth March 17, 1870, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Koch, early settlers in the township. He remained on the farm until he was 19 years old, going to Shawano county where he lived for many years. He was married in Two Rivers 45 years ago to Miss Bertha Duir of Mattoon, the couple moving to a farm near Mattoon on which the family resided for 20 years. Retiring from farming, Mr. Koch was employed as a lumber jobber for many years at Antigo. He came to Two Rivers in 1923 and since had been employed in the Aluminum Goods Mfg. company, Plant No. 1.

Surviving Mr. Koch are five daughters and three sons, two brothers, 31 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
