Born in Las Vegas, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 38 years.
He was the pastor of Gospel Lighthouse Church of Sutter for 23 years.
Also, he was a member of the Sutter Cross Community.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie L. Hudson of Sutter; two daughters, Kari R. Franceschi of Sutter and Tamara L. Wilson of Yuba City; a son, Jeremiah V.E. Hudson of Yuba City; his mother, Lola Mae Hudson of Modesto; a brother, Darrel Hudson of Modesto; four sisters, Maxine Harris of Riverbank, Janice Pitner of Rio Vista, Carolyn Crossly of Las Vegas and Frankie Delk of Kansas City, Mo.; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray M. Hudson Sr.; and a sister, Lela Hudson.
Donations may be made to Sutter North Hospice.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City.
A funeral service is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, also at the chapel. Burial follows at Sutter Cemetery.
