RAYCRAFT, Edna Jane (nee Glenn) - With sadness, the family announce the peaceful death of Edna Raycraft at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012. Edna was in her 104th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Raycraft (1982). Dear godmother of Diane Schweitzer and gramma Edna of Billy and Derek Schweitzer. She is predeceased by her parents, sisters and brothers. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Edna was very proud of serving 5 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force Women's Division. She worked at Harding Carpets for 25 years, was a member of the Gunner's Club, Dunsdon Legion and a past member of the Dart League. The family wish to extend their appreciation to the staff of St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre for their care and compassion over the last several years. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, Ontario, on Wednesday, June 6th, from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Joseph's Lifecare Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Edna in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
