Florence C. Korinek
Florence C. Korinek, age 93, a resident of Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, died Sunday morning, Aug. 31, 2003, at the home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish-Holy Redeemer Site, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William O'Brien with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Florence was born July 8, 1910, in Filer City, Mich., daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Sauer Kotarek. On Aug. 9, 1927, she married Anton J. Korinek at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1976. She was a member of the Two Rivers Senior Center.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Bernice and Clarence Kohlbeck, Manitowoc; four sons and daughters-in-law: Jerome and Jeanette Korinek, Two Rivers, Gordon and Bette Korinek, Brillion, James and Elrene Korinek, Two Rivers, and Bruce and Jan Korinek, Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren: Michele Kohlbeck, Stephen Kohlbeck, Debra Conway, Diane Korinek, David Korinek, Denise Wind, Jesse Korinek, Ann Lyon, Tom Korinek and Kim Kirchen; 12 great-grandchildren: Eric, Cassanda, Mindy, Danielle, Chandra, Jason, Nathan, Ashley, Kyle, Aspen, Bailey and Joe; a great-great-granddaughter, Madaline; one sister: Josephine Bonfigt, Two Rivers and one sister-in-law: Alice Korinek, Kewaunee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
The famly will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish-Holy Redeemer Site, Two Rivers, on Wednesday morning, Sept. 3, 2003, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
