ALICE KORINEK
Alice E. Korinek, age 89, a resident of the Kewaunee Care Center, formerly of 1918 School St., Two Rivers, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004 at the center.
Alice was born April 25, 1915 in Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary Milzner Stanek. She attended schools in Two Rivers, graduating from Washington High School. On March 21, 1936, she married Clarence Korinek at Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death July 8, 1998. Alice was employed at Paragon Electric Co. for many years, until her retirement.
Survivors include her three children: Thomas Korinek, Mary (Gary) Orchekowski, all of Manitowoc; Carol (William) Brey, St. Germaine; seven grandchildren: William Kelly) Brey; Richard (Renee) Brey; Susan (Dewey) Medaugh; Gerald Brey; John Jonas and Bernadine Shimon; Sarah Parker; and David (Rosie) Detrick; 14 great-grandchildren;one great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening. According to Alice's wishes, no funeral service will be held. Private burial will take place Thursday morning at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
