Albert Joseph De Girolamo, 84 years old, of Alliance, Ohio, died April 7, 2001, at his home surrounded by family members.

Mr. De Girolamo was the son of Giuseppe and Isolina Montanaro De Girolamo. He was born in Alliance. Ohio, on February 6, 1917. He was employed at the Morgan Engineering Company of Alliance, Ohio, as a strucural fitter for 49 years. He was a member of Regina Coeli Roman Catholic Church, the Christopher Columbus Italian Mutual Benefit Society and the Dante Alighieri Society all of Alliance, Ohio . He was a United States Army veteran serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II.

Survivors include his sisters Evelyn Brienza and Virginia Fasone both of Alliance. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews their spouses and families.

Mr. De Girolamo was preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppe and Isolina Montanaro De Girolamo, brothers, Michael and Anthony De Girolamo, sisters, Edith De Girolamo and Mrs. Sadie Caiazza. Also proceeding him in death were three brother in laws Frank Brienza, Nunzio Caiazza and James Fasone and nephew Thomas Brienza.

Funeral services will be held at at Regina Coeli Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Alliance, Ohio.
