MRS. GIDEON BEADLE FOUND DEAD IN BED - BODY BROUGHT HERE FOR BURIAL


The body of Mrs. Gideon Beadle, 71, long a resident of this community and well known here were brought to Brown City for burial, Tuesday. Funeral services were held from the Mennonite Church Tuesday afternoon with Rev Ralph Harber of Pontiac officiating. Burial was in Brown City Cemetery.

( Mrs. Beadle is survived by her home in Pontiac, Saturday. ) A heart attack was said to have been the cause of her passing. She had been in ill health for some time, but had apparently been feeling better for the past few months. Saturday morning she seemed to be all right, She arose and called her daughter and then went back to bed again where her husband found her ten minutes later, dead, it is said.

Mrs Beadle is survived by her husband; six children, Mrs. Menno Weber, Miss Gussie Beadle, Richard, Frank and George Beadle, all of Pontiac and Mrs. Jack Hoffman of Detroit; two brothers, George and Richard McElroy and one sister, Mrs. Mathilda McElroy, all of Maple Valley and 16 grandchildren.
