Nida I. (Mowery) Doudt, 98, of McComb passed away Thursday June 25, 2015 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green. Nida was born ON April 27, 1917 in Lima, Ohio to the late J. Arthur and Lena (Hutchinson) Mowery. She married Paul K. Doudt on December 3, 1939 and he preceded her in death on November 14, 2002. Nida is survived by her children: Sharon Kreh of McComb and Rolland (Veronia) Doudt of Canton; grandchildren: Kevin (Amy) Kreh, Kris Martin, Ken (Jeanne) Kreh, J. Eric (Lisa) Kreh, Darrell (Priscilla) Doudt and Natalie (Michael) Morrison; 18 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Ruth Morford, Wilma Clum, Elizabeth Hefner, Maxine Hetrick, Everett and James Mowery, a granddaughter Jacquelyn Doudt and a great-grandson Casey Kimble. Nida was a member of the Good Shepherd Church of the Deaf in Toledo and loved working out in the garden, where she took great pride in especially with her flowers and loved the thank you's and notes people left for her. Nida was a very talented lady who was able to do many things if she put her mind to. In her spare time, Nida loved doing arts, crafts and macramé. Nida enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Nida especially loved working on the family farm, where she took great pride in being a farm wife. The most important part of Nida's life was her family, she loved the time that she spent with them. Visitation for Nida will be on Monday June 29, 2015 from 11:00A.M. until the time of her funeral service at Noon in the HARTLEY-LEHTOMAA FUNERAL HOME, 370 S. Park Dr., McComb, Ohio 45858, Pastor Sherrill Petzoldt and her grandson Eric Kreh will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
