Harold J. "Horsey" Stephens, a retired Exxon employee, died Monday at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 74.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Stephens was born in Alvo, Neb. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors: Wife, Helen Stephens of Decatur; two daughters, Linda Gay Stephens of Joshua and Etta Kay Stephens of Decatur; brother, Douglas Stephens of Aransas Pass; two sisters, Irene Collins of Katy and Rotha Denton of Mesa, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
