John W. Hill, of near Shermansdale, Carroll township, died at his home about 9 a.m. Friday from pneumonia after an illness lasting about ten days. He was aged 45 years.
Mr. Hill is survived by his wife and three children, Dorothy, Marlin and Laverna, also three brothers and four sisters, namely: Mrs. Lizzie Baum, Mrs. Mervin Swinn, Miss Ellen Hill, George, Charles and William Hill, all of near Grier's Point and Mrs. Jennie Darr, of Oakville, Cumberland county. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at his late reisdence, Rev. George A. Heiss, officiating. Burial was made at Bethel Church, Grier's Point.
