David W. Hasse, 61, formerly of Menominee, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012, at home in Midlothian, Va. He was born on January 6, 1951, to the late Raymond and Alice (Ruleford) Hasse in Menominee.

David graduated from Menominee High School in 1969. He went on to serve his country in the Navy during Vietnam. Following service, David worked as an engineer at Ansul working with fire suppression systems. He later worked in Ohio and Chicago and traveled all over the world working with suppression systems. For the past 10 years he had lived in Virginia. He enjoyed golfing and shooting pool.

David is survived by three daughters: Jennifer (Steven) Rau of Weston, WI; Renee (Rob) Rennells and Deanna (Joshua) Klumb, both of Marshfield, WI;
five grandchildren: Kasey, Grace, Carson, Jonathon and Kedryn;
three brothers: Raymond (Sandra) Hasse of Peshtigo, WI; Richard Hasse of Stephenson, MI and Edward (Jean) Hasse of Menominee, MI;
three sisters: Diana Radomski of Menominee, MI; Sandra (Eugene) Swenty of Crystal Falls, Mich. and Cindy (David) Swette of Menomonee, MI;
a brother-in-law, Ralph Bancroft of Longwood, Fla.;
his neighbor and caregiver, Ruth Witting; and his favorite companion, Prince.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Barbara Bancroft and Mary Carol, and a brother-in-law, Richard Radomski.

Friends may call at Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday, July 14th from noon until 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m.
