Services for Fred H. Cool, 77, of Piketon Rt. 1,who died Saturday in Chillicothe Hospital following a short illness, are to be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Boyer Funeral Home here. Burial is to be in Waverly Evergreen Cemetery.
Born in Pike County and a retired farmer, he had also been a heavy equipment operator for Pike County and was park superintendent at Lake White from 1948 to 61. He attended Waverly Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Gertrude in 1963, he is survived by three sons, William F. and John M., both of Piketon Rt.1, and Story of Jackson; two daughters, Mrs. William (Lois) Harsh of Columbus and Mrs. Robert (Donna) Wilson of Jasper; a brother, Wilbur Cool of Waverly, 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
