Pauline (Althouse) McMahon, 87, of Warren died March 20, 2006, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington.
Mrs. McMahon was the daughter of Paul Shearer Althouse and Elizabeth (Breene) Althouse. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1940.
Among her many endeavors, she was an officer at New Milford Savings Bank, now known as NewMil Bank, director of finance of Casanovia College and a bank examiner for the state of Connecticut.
She was a longtime member of the Warren Volunteer Ambulance Corps and a member of the Prime Timers of Warren.
Mrs. McMahon is survived by two daughters, Ritamary of New York City and Mary Lillis and her husband Samuel of New Milford; three grandchildren, Rachel MacKenzie, Daniel Lillis and Lincoln McMahon; and two great-grandchildren, Kelsie MacKenzie and Caleigh MacKenzie. She was predeceased by a son, Paul.
