Surviving are two children, Wanda (James) Timmons and Cynthia Davison; two brothers Leroy and Allen; four grandchildren, Robert "Bobby" Heath, Candida Howell, Shauna Windsor and Jamie Davison; and two great grandchildren, Chloe and Logan Howell.
Also preceding him in death are his brothers, Fred, Ebbert, and Harrison and his sister, Hazel David.
Robert worked for International Harvester in Canton for 17 years and later had a small engine shop out of his garage. He enjoyed racing of all types including motorcycles, drag cars, go carts and midgets.
