Mrs. Eleanor S. Orndoff died at her home in Franklin township, Wednesday morning, February 9, of paralysis. She was aged 79 years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Shriver and had spent her entire life in the community in which she died. Her husband, William Orndoff, died in 1912. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Two daughters and four sons survive: Mrs. George Patterson, of Franklin township; Mrs. Merle Shultz, of Whiteley township; W. I. Orndoff, of Center township; John C. Orndoff, of Waynesburg; Furman E. Orndoff, of Whiteley township, and Crawford L. Orndoff, of Frankin township. One sister, Mrs. Rachel McNeely, of Pittsburgh, fourteen grand children and two great grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held in the Claughton Chapel church Friday at 1 p.m., conducted by Rev. T. S. Carson, of Mt. Morris. Interment in Chaughton Chapel cemetery.
