Lurena Jane Dawson, age 38, passed away at her home Friday morning at 2:00 AM in Fisher Station, due to complications during childbirth.Baby girl was stillborn and is buried with Lurena cradled against her chest in her mother's loving arms. Lurena was a devoted christian all of her life,and a Seamstress.Lurena and Charles were united in marriage on December 23rd 1911.To this union was born 5 children, four of whom are living. Lurena leaves behind to love and cherish her memory, husband Charles Louis Dawson.Children, Howard Charles 16 , Glen Clifford 10, Clyde Sidney 8 and Reba Evelean 5.Father, Christopher Columbus Woods. Brothers,William Eli Woods of Enterprise and George Morris Woods of Athens.Preceded in death by mother, Ottie Dell Martin-Woods, who died when Lurena was 4 years old. Infant daughter, Lurena Ethel.Funeral services will be held 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Methodist Protestant Church in New Marshfield.The service will be conducted by Rev. J.L. Cartwright. Interment will be in New Marshfield Cemetery.
