Statesboro - Kathleen Rushing Murphy, 90, died Monday, February 17, 2003 in the Statesboro Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County, was a loving mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She was a homemaker and an apartment owner and manager. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Bish" Murphy. Survivors: four daughters and sons-in-law, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Jake A. Futch Funeral Home, Statesboro. Burial: Eastside Cemetery.
