EMIL ZEMAN

Emil Zeman, 72, of Rt. 1, Reedsville, Town of Maple Grove, died Saturday afternoon at his home following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be at ?:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Reedsville Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville, the Rev. William Koutnik
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born May ??, 1885, at..(line underinked)…..erstown, son of the late Joseph and Rose Korinek Zeman. He married Agnes Spatchek of the Town of Maple Grove Oct. 10, 1911, and farmed in the township for 40 years. He was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin and the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Catholic Church of Reedsville.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Clarence at home and Gilbert of Manitowoc; daughter, Mrs. John Kakes of Mishicot; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Shimek of Kellnersville and Mrs. Mary Franz of California; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited by the Holy Name Society at 8 p.m. and by the Catholic Knights at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Last Tuesday, Oct. 10th at 10 o'clock Miss Agnes Spatchek and Emil Zeman of Cooperstown were united in marriage by Rev. F. Kolar in St. Mary's church at Reedsville. The bride wore a white messaline dress and carried white roses. They were attended by Miss Carrie Spatchek and Willie Pritzl and Libbie Zeman and John Spatchek. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Spatchek. In the evening a wedding dance was given at Krizenesky's Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Zeman will make their home at Maribel.
