He spent his younger years roaming the globe and following his dreams from Europe and the Caribbean, the Virgin Islands to South Dakota, and only returned home a year and a half ago.
He graduated from Jackson High in 1997 and from Bryman in 2003 to become a dental assistant, where he enjoyed his chosen career.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Christy Leigh Hanson.
He is survived by one grandfather, Wayne R. Hales; his parents; three sisters, Robyn Carlson, Tami Hales, and Melissa Schroeder; four nephews, Mathew Carlson, Joshua Carlson, Austin Schroeder and Chase Curry; and a niece, Kylee Schroeder.
A memorial service will be held in early December, time and place to be announced at a later time.
