Betty Lou Farley Worley was the youngest of her large family. Born on April 4, 1948, to Thomas Lee Farley and Winnie Ellen Bolen Hall Farley. At the age of 17, she married Clarence Robertson Worley on Oct. 25, 1965. They had 2 beautiful daughters. She died when she was only 37, on April 20, 1985. She was sadly missed by her family and friends.

OBITUARY
Betty Lou Worley, 37, died Saturday at 11:40 p.m. in a Beckley hospital following a long illness.

Born April 4, 1948, at Jonben, she was the daughter of Winnie Bolen of Princewick, and the late Thomas Lee Farley.

Mrs. Worley was a homemaker and a member of the East Gulf Community Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Clarence Worley; two daughters, Nola Lilly of Jonben and Patricia Worley at home; two step-sons, Roger Worley of Coal City and Tommy Worley of Daniels; four sisters Nellie Mullens of Beaver, Elizabeth Bolen and Mary Bolen both of Princewick and Emma McBride of Coal City; three brothers, Gene Farley of Whitby, Junior Farley of Sullivan and Tom Farley of Florida; two half-sisters, Marie Jennings of McArthur, and Garnet Jennings of Odd; four half brothers, Clint Farley of Ghent, Denny Farley of Coal City, Raymond Hall of Ohio, and Jennings Hall of New Jersey; four step-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the East Gulf Community Church in East Gulf with the Rev. Cecil Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery in Coal City.

Friends may call today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Williams Blue Ridge in
Sophia and at the church one hour prior to services.

Pallbearers will be Jack Chaffin Jr., Dean Bolen, Roger Worley, the Rev Denzil Vaught, C.C. Mooney, the Rev. Lawrence Lilly, Harry Gowan, and Eddie McBride.
