Three times Mayor of Meriden, Connecticut, served in many other town and state offices and held membership in numerous societies and associations. Son of Henry Willis and Harriet Bunnell Lines. Married Sarah Congdon Munger in 1861. He was elected to the Meriden Hall of Fame in 2003.
