Blanche Phillips, age 97, of Mt. Zion Road in Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at her residence. She was born in Wellston, Ohio, on May 30, 1911.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Talitha (Arthur) Finn; her husband, Melvin Phillips; a daughter, Donna Jean Phillips; and one grandchild.
She is survived by three daughters, Louella Jones, JoAnn Bush and Mona Reynolds, all of Jackson; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at Mayhew Funeral Home on Weds., Dec. 24, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Jerry Mullins officiating. Friends may call at the Mayhew Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston, Ohio.
