She was born March 25, 1904 in Two Rivers to the late August and Anna (Gould) Glandt. She married Louis Pahl on November 29, 1923 in Two Rivers. He precede her in death January 25, 1977. Helen moved here in 1945. She worked for the Great Lakes Shoe Co. for many years. Helen was a beautiful seamstress and also enjoyed water and oil painting. She loved tending her flower garden. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and the Altar Society at the Church.
Helen is survived by three daughters, Patricia VanHulle, Oconto; Mary Jean (Russell) Elfner, Suring; Joan (Arlend) Whiting, Suring; nine grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; an infant daughter; two sisters, Alice and Marie; a son-in-law, George VanHulle.
Friends called at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Joseph Site from 8:30 to 9a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2000. Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Site with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating.
Memorials may be given to Holy Trinity Parish Church Building Fund.
