RAYMOND C. PRIEGNITZ

Raymond C. (Larry) Priegnitz, 64, of 2816 Monroe St., Two Rivers, longtime operator and associate of the Kronzer and Wolf Co., Two Rivers clothing firm died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at Holy Family hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient for five days.

Funeral services will be at 9:30am Wednesday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, and at 10am at Holy Redeemer Catholic church the Rev. Paul Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery.

Raymond Priegnitz was born January 31, 1905, at Two Rivers, son of the late William and Francis Grimm Priegnitz. He attended Two Rivers schools and graduated in 1923 from Two Rivers High School where he starred in all sports. He also attended Marquette University, Milwaukee. He became associated with the Kronzer and Wolf firm as a young man and took over its operation a number of years ago. He was a member of Mother of Good Hope Council No. 1957, Knights of Columbus, a Fourth Degree Knight; the Two Rivers Elks Lodge No. 1380 and the Two Rivers Chamber of Commerce.

Besides this wife, the former Leila McDougall, whom he married in 1937, he leaves a daughter (name omitted for privacy) of Cedarburg, a sister, Mrs. Mark Klein of Two Rivers, a brother Elmer of New York and one grandchild.

Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 4pm Tuesday where the Elks Lodge will conduct memorial services at 7pm and the Knights of Columbus will join the family in memorial services at 8pm.
