Claude E. Prudome, age 74, formerly of 2411 34th St., Two Rivers, currently residing at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, died Thursday morning, April 27, 2000, at North Ridge.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2000, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. William G. O'Brien with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Military Graveside Rites will be accorded by the V.F.W. and American Legion Post of Two Rivers.

He was born March 4, 1926, in Two Rivers, son of the late Harry and Annie Miller Prudome. He attended schools in Two Rivers, graduating from Washington High School with the class of 1947. Claude was a World War II veteran having served with the United States Navy from 1944 until 1946. An August 28, 1948, he married Charlotte Habeck in Two Rivers. She preceded him in death on May 26, 1992. Mr. Prudome was employed with the Mirro Company for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #1248 of Two Rivers, the Men of Holy Redeemer, Knights of Columbus Council #1957, Two Rivers Historical Society and the Two Rivers Senior citizens. He was also a former member of the Two Rivers Rifle Team. He enjoyed playing dartball and watching all sporting events.

Survivors include a very special friend, Ethel Wachtel, Two Rivers; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Elsie Prudome, Pensacola, Fla.; one brother-in-law, Louis (Ruth) Habeck, Manitowoc; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Prudome, Pensacola, Fla., Glenness (Bob) Mueller, Adele Steinbrecker, all of Two Rivers; a number of nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Howard "Bucky" Prudome; and one sister, Harriet Prudome.Friends may call at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church after 8:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.

Memorials may be made to Holy Redeemer Parish or the Lester Public Library.
