Agnes R. Pupeter, age 66, of 3121 Bellevue Place, Two Rivers, died late on Thursday morning, March 17, 2011, at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Agnes was born Feb. 27, 1945, in School Hill, a daughter of the late Arno and Helen (Roitt) Schneider. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Grade School in Clarks Mills and graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1962. Agnes completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program at L.T.C. On Sept. 6, 1975, she married Mark Pupeter at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Agnes worked at Paragon, Two Rivers Community Hospital and Holy Family Memorial Medical Center for 10 years in the C.S. Dept. She also volunteered at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Agnes was an active member of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Peter the Fisherman and sang in the "Coming Home" Choir and the big choir. Anges enjoyed crocheting for family and friends, biking, walking and bowling.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers: Francis and Sylvester Schneider; one brother-in-law: Norman Kutz; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Edward and Jessie Pupeter.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Agnes' name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Pupeter family with funeral arrangements.
The family extends a special thank you to the staffs at Harbor House, Hospice Advantage and Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center for the warm and compassionate care given to Agnes and her family.
