Sarah Ann Ward was born in Canada to John Ward & Maria Bowser Ward -Immigrant parents coming from England - their destination - Marshall, Michigan. They would locate to Grant Co., WI. Sarah Ann married John Garrow on May 14, 1849 in Patch Grove, Grant Co., WI. They became the parents of three children - Lavinia (Louis/Lewis), Frank & William Garrow and lived in Clayton Co., Iowa. John died at the age of 34 - in 1860. Sarah Ann then married Daniel B Thompson - returning to Crawford Co., WI. They were the parents of a daughter Jessie Mae Thompson. Jessie married Mathias Pulda - they had a daughter - Agnes - born in 1904. Jessie and Agnes (8mos) both died in 1904. They are buried here as Thompsons. Sarah Ann is buried near her parents - John Ward and mother - Maria Bowser Ward (Richard) Lane. Submitted by
