Born March 25, 1905, in Elmwood to Charles and Violet Rogers Nibbelin, he married Martha Solomon on April 16, 1972, in Peoria.
She survives along with one stepdaughter, Martha Moore of Alexandria, Va.; and two stepsons, James Solomon of Tulsa, Okla., and Dan Solomon of Lowpoint. One son and two brothers preceded him in death.
He was a machinist at Caterpillar Inc. for 37 years, retiring in 1965.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
