'Wee Wee' Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the home of her daughter, Bonnie, in Coral Springs, FL. Alice was born August 16, 1913 in Bay City to the late Harry and Leona (Taghon) Bokhart. She was the last survivor of eleven children. Alice was married to Fred J. Wiedyk; he preceded her in death May 17, 1989. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Alice was an avid gardener and also enjoyed golfing with Babe. She will be fondly remembered by all who shared her zest for life. Surviving are her three children: Marcia Van Sumeren, Mary Joy and Eugene DeWyse, and Bonnie and Richard Brossard; fourteen grandchildren: Tim (Sandy) Van Sumeren, Terry Van Sumeren, Anne Beth Van Sumeren, Karen (Tom) Linabury, Robbie (Brandi) Van Sumeren, Mike (Tammy) DeWyse, Pat (Sue) DeWyse, Jill (Jason) Koziatek, Joe (Fran) DeWyse, Amy (John) Connelly, Teresa (Pete) Millar, Lori (Bob) Warda, Susan (Eric) Tomchin, and Kenneth Brossard; 21 great-grandchildren; seven sisters-in-law: Mayme Bokhart, Nora Bokhart, Mary Doriean, Thelma Woods, Betty Walraven, Luella Kaczmarek, and Virginia Wiedyk. Besides her husband Fred, and her parents, Alice was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters; and three grandsons: Joseph, Douglas, and Thomas Van Sumeren.
