Michael Larsen Adams, 44, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, died this last week of injuries sustained while hiking in the Organ Mountains near Las Cruces.

Born October 28, 1955, in Provo, Utah. Raised in Heber City, Utah.Eagle scout.

Attended Wasatch High School, graduated from the University of Utah in Pre-Med, obtained his Doctorate in Pharmacology from Virginia Common-wealth University.

Served in the Santiago, Chile Mission for the LDS Church from 1974 -1976.

Married Ann Edington on April 29, 1978 in the Salt Lake Temple.

After earning his Doctorate, Mike and his family spent many years in Saint Louis, MO, where he worked as a research pharmacist.

Survived by his wife Ann Edington; three children: Samuel Daniel (20), Quinn Michael (18), and Margaret Ann (12), all of Las Cruces, NM; parents, Mack S. and Margaret Adams, of Heber City, UT; six brothers and three sisters: Brent L. (Hilary), Provo, Lois Elaine Bates (Gary), West Jordan, David M. (Patricia), Heber, Lynn L. (Paulette), Heber, Leslie Christensen (Karl), West Jordan, Suzanne Wilkinson (Matthew), Mapleton, Wayne L. (Marie),

Heber, John F. (Laura), Salt Lake, Russell J. (Rebecca), Murray.

Memorial services will be held Friday, December 17, 1999, in Las Cruces, NM.

Michael and his family had recently moved to Las Cruces to be close to family and the Organ Mountains that he loved so much.

He was a very good, intelligent, quiet, and gentle man.
