Julius J. Sobiech, 84, of Two Rivers, died late Thursday night, Sept. 27, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. John Neuser will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mr. Sobiech was born Feb. 16, 1895, at Manitowoc, son of the late Anton and Katherine Sobiech. He was a World War I Army veteran and married Justine Seufert Sept. 25, 1923, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Mr. Sobiech had been employed with Mirro Aluminum Company for 40 years, retiring 19 years ago. He was a member of Men of St. Mark, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, a son, Andrew of Bedford, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Mike (Celestine) Bradley and Mrs. Donald (Eleanore) Finnel of Denmark and Mrs. Tom (Marie) Hayes of Two Rivers, 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Two Brothers, a sister, three half-brothers and a grandson preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, where a memorial service will be at 7 p.m.

Miss Philomena Seufert, a recent emigrant here from Germany where her parents still reside, became the bride of Julius Sobiech, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Sobiech, of this city at Sacred Heart Church Tuesday morning, Rev. Malkowski officiating at the ceremony. Misses Leala Brau and Alvina Leicht and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Filstor attended the couple. The groom is a fireman for one of the manufacturing plants.
