EDWARD SOUSEK

Edward A. Sousek, 63, of Riverview Drive, Two Rivers, retired longtime operator of pony rides for children in that area, died en route to Two Rivers Municipal Hospital Saturday afternoon after being stricken with a heart condition.

Funeral services will be at 9:30am Wednesday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers and at 10am at St. Luke Catholic Church, the Rev. Earl Brouchoud officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mr. Sousek was born March 6, 1903 at Two Rivers, a son of the late Wenzel and Dora Zachek Sousek. He attended St. Luke Parochial School. Since World War II he had been a welder at the Manitowoc Ship Building Corp., retiring two years ago. He was a member of the ZCBJ Bohemian Lodge and St. Luke Holy Name Society.

Besides his wife, the former Mary Molls, whom he married at Racine Sept. 25, 1925, where they resided for a short time, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Milton (Marilyn) Perron, Mrs. Kenneth (Kathleen) Brandemuehl and Mrs. Donald (Lillian) Steinhauer, all of Two Rivers; a son, Raymond, of Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Pinger, Mrs. Emma Wolcott and Mrs. Lawrence Gauthier, all of Two Rivers, and nine grandchildren. A son, Donald, preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 3pm Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited by the family and Holy Name Society at 8pm.
