MICHIGAN CITY - Ramona E. Nessler, 74, of U.S. 20, died Wednesday in her home. Survivors include two daughters, Jacqueline "Jackie" Hayter of Augusta, Ga., and Kathryn Schroeder of LaPorte; two sons, Lawrence of High Point, N.C., and Michael of Indianapolis; her mother, Evangeline Coates of LaPorte; a sister, Helen Adams of Logansport; and a brother, Arnold Coates of Westville. Services will be at noon Saturday in Queen of All Saint's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.
