Frank Zellner, 74, of 2606 West St., Two Rivers, died shortly before noon Wednesday at a Manitowoc hospital, where he was a patient for nine days.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers and at 11 a.m. with a solemn requiem high Mass at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. H.J. Schmitz the celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Zellner was born Nov. 20, 1885, at Luxemburg, a son of the late Karl and Barbara Zellner Zellner. He attended the Luxemburg parochial school after which he became a cheesemaker, employed at factories in northern Manitowoc county for 16 years. He then took over a farm in the Town of Mishicot for 28 years, moving to Two Rivers in 1945 and working at Hamilton Mfg. Co. until his retirement in 1953. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Luke Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Annie Reich, whom he married at Tish Mills Feb. 5, 1907; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Folk of Rt. 1, Kewaunee; and Mrs. Alden Drab of Denmark; two sons, Adolph of Two Rivers and Frank M. of Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Strebel and Mrs. Leonard Rich of Green Bay; seven brothers, Charles, Peter and Albert of Luxemburg, Felix, Joseph and Henry of Green Bay and Anton of Casco; seven grand-children and eight great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 2 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be at 7:45 p.m. for the immediate family and the Holy Name Society.
