ARTHUR ZIMMER

Funeral services for Arthur Zimmer, 41, Route 1, Two Rivers, who was killed when pinned under a tractor while plowing on the farm of his brother-in-law, Raymond Grimm, Wednesday morning, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Arthur Zimmer was born at Manitowoc Rapids in 1910, a son of the late George and Emma Kortens Zimmer. Until five years ago he resided on the homestead farm, which he helped operate. He was an employe of the Western Condensing Company at Mishicot for the past few years and worked also on the Grimm farm upon which his family resided. In 1939, Mr. Zimmer married Lavern Braun at St. Michael Catholic Church at Whitelaw.

Besides his wife Mr. Zimmer leaves a daughter, Florence, and five sons, Marvin, Dennis, Stanley, Gene and Glenn, all at home. He is also survived by five sisters, Mrs. Arthur Grimm of Two Rivers, Mrs. John Dirkman of Francis Creek, Mrs. Edward Heinzen of Manitowoc, Mrs. George Wellner of Route 5, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Ray Grimm of the town of Two Rivers; and two brothers, Reinhart of Two Creeks and Leo Zimmer of Manitowoc.

Friends may call at the Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, until the time of services. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday by the members of the Third Order of St. Francis, with which Mr. Zimmer was affiliated, and also at 7:45 p.m.
