Donald Ashfield Mars Hill 81. Died at a Presque Isle hospital 8-18-1984. He was born in Fredericton, NB., Canada 12-18-1902 the son of Isaac and Mary Ashfield. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mars Hill and a 42 year member of the Mars Hill Volunteer Fire Dept. He is survived by his wife, Effie (White) Ashfield of Mars Hill, a daughter and son in law, Janna and Ira Dodge of Easton, a son and daughter in law, Jan and Donna Ashfield of Williamstown, NJ., 3 grandchildren, Crysta Joy Ashfield of Williamstown, NJ., Michelle Rae Dodge and Melissa Joy Dodge, both of Easton, a foster brother, Bert Jeffery of Fredericton, NB., Canada, several nieces and nephews. Interment in Pierce cemetery.
